I distinguish my gifs from other peoples because I know exactly what I make. I spend hours in photoshop and when I see something that I put effort into, I know whether or not it’s mine. also, I don’t gif popular/new videos, I gif old videos of random stuff and not many people do the same as me. finally, I have my own set of psds that I use, so by the colourings I can judge whether or not something is mine or someone elses. no gif maker on tumblr who actually makes their own stuff would steal someone elses, because afterall we know the effort it takes to make something so why would we take something that wasn’t ours and make another person annoyed?
